Proverbs 11

Proverbs 11:24 One person gives freely, yet gains even more;
   another withholds unduly, but comes to poverty.
     This verse is talking about how when you give to others you gain so much becuase you have done a good thing. Gain so much more in spirit. If you keep everything to yourself you might have all these material things. You dont have anything to gain in faith. Your faith is the most important thing. The materials you obtain from people are not nearly as important as the gifts you receive from God.
     I am going to follow this verse of the bible becuase it is truly important to me and I truly believe in it.
     I am going to be as generous as I can and not be as selfish as I have been. If someone is in need of something I will help them out and try to become a better person.

    

Proverbs 10

Proverbs 10:4 "Lazy hands make for poverty,
   but diligent hands bring wealth. "
     This verse is saying how if you are slothful you will receive poverty. If you are diligent you will receive wealth. I took it as not poverty as in poor and having no money but poor in spirit. I took being wealthy as being wealthy in your faith. You will be sorrowful if you are lazy and you will be happy if you are diligent.
     One way I could follow this verse is I could help the poor out like serve at a soup kitchen. Another way I could help out is I could serve mass at church more often.
